Workshop "Development and Marketing of Radiopharmaceuticals at an Industrial Level" 07/02/2013 (Strasbourg, France)

The workshop "Development and marketing of radiopharmaceuticals at an industrial level" for RADDEL fellows took place on the 7th of February 2013 at the Institut de Biologie Moleculaire et Cellularie in Strasbourg (France). The workshop, imparted by Dr. Jean-Claude Saccavini (Head of Strategic Marketing and Project Management at IBA Molecular) focused on the most important aspects to take into account for the development of radiopharmaceuticals and the regulations to reach the market. A total of 21 people participated in this workshop, including 10 ESR fellows and 7 people external to RADDEL.

Participants in the workshop learned about the following topics:

- Radionuclide manufacturing and labeling

- Scaling-up and industralisation of radiopharmaceuticals

- Nuclear safety and regulatory constraints
